#1: engine light still coming on!! Author: joep206, Location: NottinghamPosted: Thu May 09, 2013 12:03 pm ---- Had my 51 plate 1.1 for a year now and for the past 6 months I've had the engine light come on. It goes off when you turn the engine off and on but comes back on after a few miles. Had the injectors changed and new coils but it's still coming on! Any ideas what the problem might be??

You do know number 1 injector is at the GEARBOX end of the engine on a Peugeot / Citroen?

Just want to know if anybody has got any suggestions

Has the correct injector actually been replaced?
Cylinder number 2 would be the 3rd cylinder from the left when standing at the front of the car looking towards the engine.
Has anybody checked the wiring harness circuit for injector 2 isn't faulty?

And definately replaced injector 2 and not 3?
Harness / connector could be causing it, as said above.
