I put the battery charge on my car as it seemed stone dead flat. Charger said 75% power and the ignition came on so I took it off and it was stone flat again. Put the charger back on and the car locked itself with the key in the ignition.

Anyone have any ideas before I start bending the door open? I was going to hope for the best and start pulling fuses but I know its not the best idea so thought I would ask first.

Spare key?
Call your breakdown service.
Call an auto locksmith.
Smash the window.

Put the rear window though if 3door! Easier to change, just 3 bolts!!

spare key is in the car seen as its been stored in the garage. Trying to mend it not break it but I will if I have to. Just thought being french I can upset the electrics and it will do random things by itself like it usually does.

I don't know of any tricks for unlocking itself :/
But best bet is smash rear quarter window, there £5-£10 from scrappy and 3bolts like I said.
Can change in 5mins! Saves you bending a door!

Put the quarter window through... be the easiest way of doing it.

Done it now. I noticed the quarter window catch was not completely snapped shut so prised it back with some screwdrivers and managed to flick it open. Got my arm in and hooked the lock.
