First of all ill note the car had a new Mot on 22/12/2012
All was noted front disc's corroded - they got replaced and break pads
5 months on now today peugeot report
oil leak from behind cambelt covers
excessive play in n s f anti roll barlink
rear pads worn by 95%
rear brake discs corroded
what is the legal brake pad % because sounds to me they should of been changed at the Mot time and the discs? If so then i will take the car back to the garage
But anyway oil leak behind cam cover how severe is this likely to be??

As far as the tester is concerned, if the brakes perform to the required standard on the rollers, then it's OK. If worn excessively, then they can advise you change them.
You can't hold a garage responsible for a car owners poor maintenance regime. It takes seconds to check how much friction material is left. By the time there is none left, it's too late. If your car goes in for an annual service, then I'd expect the garage to point out problems like that, otherwise it's just down to the owner to keep on top of things.

Ok thanks, any idea what oil leak behind cambelt cover is, rocker cover or head gasket ? or possibly something less

True, I've changed mine even though the new ones wernt much thicker!

i have just done an oil and filter change, recent k&n panel filter
So do i spend 5- 600 quid on maintenance or do i just save the money.. cut my losses and get a newer 206 as i do enjoy the car hmm
