#1: tax VIC... Author: lisa206, Location: BirminghamPosted: Fri May 31, 2013 5:05 pm ---- Hi does any one know for sure if I can tax my car that has a VIC marker set on it. I have checked on DVLA etc, but they don't give me a straight answer , they jus say they won't send a reminder...
Some other people say I can still tax it , some say no.
Anyone know 100%
Thanks !

interested in knowing this as well
You can insure a car with no tax, then drive it to the mot station. Then it passes (hopefully) and you can take your ins certificate and mot certificate to buy your tax!

Nope. Youll have to get the car vic tested before your allowed to tax it. You need a vic pass certificate to be able to tax the car. Cars a CAT C I take it..?
