Also that hideous sewerage pipe sticking out of the back needs to be changed or at least fitted properly..

I've always loved GTi 138. As macca said, get the exhaust position fixed. Doesn't look like a SUV to me, but yes, lowering it would make it look better for sure. I'd get some wheel-spacers first though and take those wheels out a bit. 12mm's would do!
