If you get the right circuit board, yes. I think there are 3 for multiplex and they depend on if front fogs are fitted for some strange reason.
Some BSIs are programmed to accept a certain number of remotes. I think you need to delete all keys and then reprogram the keys that you have.
The new key will be useless to start the car though unless you get a virgin transponder chip and pair that with the car. These chips can only be used once, so if one comes with the used key, it can't be reprogrammed.

and the worst thing is, i did everything right which is stated above.

same thing happened to me.. on PP the car is picking up the signal but doesnt recognise it to open or lock the doors.
