Can anyone tell me what these codes mean and what needs to be checked/tested please?

Fault Code List - aka What can go wrong

#4: Re: 206 1.4 04 plate problems Author: daniboy123 PostPosted: Tue Jun 04, 2013 1:07 pm

I managed to find the faults and have replaced the crankshaft sensor to no avail. In the haynes manual it states that the ECU operates on a wasted spark principle so i assume it doesnt have a cam shaft sensor if anyone can confirm this?. As far as the other fault goes could this be an O2 sensor issue? would it flag this fault if the engine was running too lean/rich meaning there is a fuel supply problem. What does bank 1 refer to? Thanks.

bank 1 normally refers to 2 lots of sensors and bank 1 being the 1st and bank 2 being the second and does normally go on the lambda sensors, it should have a cam shaft sensor located on the belt end normally.
hope this helped.
