#1: how do I remove the sticky stuff behind the badges? Author: tommy89, Posted: Sun Jun 09, 2013 5:18 am ---- I have removed the rear badges - but its left a fair bit of the sticky grey fixers behind - any ideas on the best way to get this off?
I don't want to just hack at it and scratch the boot lid

Then use either a light cutting compound to get rid of any residual or put a bit of solvent on a cloth & dab that on. Then cut & polish the area.

#10: Re: how do I remove the sticky stuff behind the badges? Author: tommy89, Posted: Sun Jun 09, 2013 10:21 am ---- Got it all off! but because my 206 was badly looked after before I got it - the boot has faded (worse than I had thought) so now I have a ghosted "peugeot" and "206" _ I have tried waxing, cutting compound and paint restorer - it looks better now, but still visible.
Unsure weather to keep it like that, put the badges back on (after painting maybe), or apply decals over the area....
Any thoughts? ( I will try and get a picture up of the area at some point) thanks for any ideas

Author: tommy89, Posted: Sun Jun 09, 2013 10:25 am ---- I really do think I am going to have to invest in one of these for this car - It was only meant to be a cheap car to use as the GFs drive about.... But now I really like it (even though it is poverty spec)
