I have removed the rear badges - but its left a fair bit of the sticky grey fixers behind - any ideas on the best way to get this off?

I don't want to just hack at it and scratch the boot lid Sad

Hair drier to warm it up then pick/rub the worst of it off. Then use either a light cutting compound to get rid of any residual or put a bit of solvent on a cloth & dab that on. Then cut & polish the area.

Got it all off! but because my 206 was badly looked after before I got it - the boot has faded (worse than I had thought) so now I have a ghosted "peugeot" and "206" _ I have tried waxing, cutting compound and paint restorer - it looks better now, but still visible.

Unsure weather to keep it like that, put the badges back on (after painting maybe), or apply decals over the area....

Any thoughts? ( I will try and get a picture up of the area at some point) thanks for any ideas Smile

I really do think I am going to have to invest in one of these for this car - It was only meant to be a cheap car to use as the GFs drive about.... But now I really like it (even though it is poverty spec)
