It all bolts straight on.

Find out what age and preferably build date (can be found on hoses under the bonnet, seat belts etc) of the GTi or XSi that they are from and then buy the correct new discs and pads. Don't do it the other way round.

But whatever you do, don't buy the 307 2 litre calipers that also hold 282mm discs, and buy GTi180 discs. They have different offsets

Calipers bolt straight on and clear standard gti wheels.
