Hello everyone , another funny thing happened last night while I was installing stalk adapter for JVC HU that i installed few weeks earlier .

the adapter is plug and play , tested it and everything works well , then i decided to cut the P&P harness since it took huge space at the back of the HU , connected the wires directly one by one as per the diagram on the actual harness of the adapter . the mistake I did is I kept the ignition on while doing the wiring job .

all of the sudden , I got Engine Immobilizer error , car doesn't start , remote key doesn't lock or unlock the car .

after many diagnosis and reading online , I hooked up the PP2000 , and the switch module under the steering is not replying , I tried to check if there is a fuse related to it , but I couldn't find anything .

Could it the Switch module is gone, or its just a fuse or something to make it working again ,

I called the dealer today and they said it's 760$ and needs 3 weeks for order to arrive,

if anyone have an advise it will be highly appreciated .

the car is 206RC ( GTI 180 ) 2005 model .

Crying or Very sad
