Some of the ideas people are throwing out nowadays......... I would be checking fap pressures, boost lines for turbo failure (oil blocking them) and see if the ecu is unlocking

There could be numerous issues causing it, if it died while you were driving it then were there any prior issues? Did the revs drop suddenly before it died? Did anything strange happen before it died? Best thing to do is get the error codes read.

Not sure if I am taking out of my a**e here or not, but it would still start with a faulty turbo, and just cut out when you give it a good amount of revs, no?

Not 100% sure, never owned or worked on a car with a turbo, never needed the knowledge Embarassed

If this situation had happened to me, my first port of call would have been to clean the engine dipstick, and dip the fuel tank, to see where i was with the diesel.
I assume the car as been sorted now, and hopefully she can say what it was.

Don't hold your breath, or do. Either way.

BTW, fix your keyboard.

YAY you've beaten my record! LOL

I have got an issue, but its not directly connected to a 1.6 hdi

To be fair, mine apart from the DPF issue has been fault free, apart from electrical issues which pugs are known for.
