#1: Rear Clunking Noise.... Author: tris_asd, Location: kent, ukPosted: Tue Jul 09, 2013 5:47 am ---- I've had a clunking noise coming from the rear for a few months. It tends to only be noticeable when driving slowish and potholes obviously bring it on. So on the roads round here, driving slowly, it doesn't sound great.
I've jacked it up and had a waggle and everything seems to be solid. No play at all that I can notice.
I did notice this bush that looks like the rubber may not be totally intact. However I noticed the rubber is the same on the other side so I'm guessing it's not this. The rubber only goes around 80% of the bush and then stops which I thought was a little strange.
Anyway, I doubt this is causing the clunking but anyway of diagnosing what the issue is? I've heard the rear axles go on these 206's fairly frequently, or could it be ARB related? Thanks

But I recon shocks.
