So, yesterday a couple of my colleagues were getting into the back of the car and moved the handle the wrong way. I'm sure some of you know that this instantly destroys the seat mechanism and it takes a few minutes to click it back in.
Anyway, after a few minutes of p**sing about trying to fix it, I found a piece of the ratchet had fallen off. My seat now slides back and forth freely. Fun!
I haven't got any scrappies near me. Do you reckon I could get the seat mounting assembly from Peugeot? I've been quoted £60 for a whole new seat from a parts place, but that's leather and mine are cloth....

Shouldn't take more than an hour at most really.

#8: Re: 206 hidden "Rollercoaster" feature Author: Dabamash, Location: The car in frontPosted: Sat Aug 03, 2013 1:31 pm ---- Possibly. It's the little bit that slots into the runners to hold the seat in place that has snapped off. I'm not sure which part of the assembly that it's from
#9: Re: 206 hidden "Rollercoaster" feature Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Sat Aug 03, 2013 2:53 pm ---- Swap the runners mate. Any seat should mate to yours, ie sports or non sports
#10: Re: 206 hidden "Rollercoaster" feature Author: Lecktorious, Location: ScotlandPosted: Sat Aug 03, 2013 3:06 pm ---- Yep, you need a set of runners. Literally a 15 minute job, including taking the seat out.
#11: Re: 206 hidden "Rollercoaster" feature Author: Dabamash, Location: The car in frontPosted: Sun Aug 04, 2013 3:38 pm ---- The parts people refuse to sell me anything but the whole seat and assembly (a***oles). Gonna be a costly one
#12: Re: 206 hidden "Rollercoaster" feature Author: mattymj, Location: NorfolkPosted: Sun Aug 04, 2013 4:44 pm ---- U need a little clip thats in the runners
#13: Re: 206 hidden "Rollercoaster" feature Author: karlfaber2012, Posted: Sun Aug 04, 2013 4:45 pm ---- eBay is your best friend, just had to do this myself last weekend, search 206
Seat runner. Drivers side and passenger is different so make sure you get the right one.
