#1: Whats this plug? Author: Jack123, Location: Earl Shilton UKPosted: Tue Aug 06, 2013 2:11 pm ---- Searched the forums for any likely candidates but can't find anything, was removing a few bits from the car and noticed the foam behind the panel, pulled it forward and it has an orange plug in it, looks like there could of been two others in there at some point also, anyone know what its for?
Cheers.

Ah, would make sense considering its location, if only I had a passenger airbag

Most likely find the other plug is behind the dash above glovebox.
Fit passenger airbag, fit bulb to instrument cluster, change or reconfigure airbag ecu & job done.

Cars coming up for 15 years old soon, so I'll either be getting rid and getting something newer, or replacing the airbag as its been 15 years, if I do replace the one, I may as well add the other, I'll have a hunt for that plug when I get the glovebox out to see if the plug is there for the glovebox light.
