#3: Re: 206 gti 180 engine bits Author: Timon2210, Location: PalestinePosted: Mon Aug 12, 2013 1:58 pm ---- that is right,that dome capped item,got attached to the air hose you see in the pic,what it do,is when you start the car in the morning,the ECU makes the air pump on to pump fresh air,so that all the carbon left in the throttle body is gone when the engine runs,and also do it while you are stuck in traffic,so you have a better fuel burn,which means better for fuel MPG.

Well that ain't certainly working for me cause I'm not seeing an inch over 30mpg no matter where I go lmao. Doesn't help I've got a Typhoon induction kit.
