Airbag fault

Not had a problem in a year it a 02 140 gti it has started flashing up airbag fault then after that say passenger airbag deactivated when it hasn't been deactivated

Sounds like battery is on its way out.

Get battery & alternator tested.

^ what he said. Had the same issue with my passenger airbag coming on. Particularly on Cold winter days and when my AC is on. Turned out to be both my alternator and an old battery.

Also check the wiring is secure behind the passenger airbag switch just in case.

Had bat and alt tested both fine wires behind switch look fine aswell any other ideas people thanks

Don't know what I done took button out put it back and hey presto thanks for help though I love this site u get all help with out garage costs
