#1: My Radio/Cd Player Is Not Working Correctly... Author: byronwells, Posted: Fri Sep 13, 2013 3:34 am ---- Alright guys
I am brand new to this site and brand new to driving. I have brought a used Peugeot 206, year 2001 model which has got the standard built in Radio/CD player..
However I have no idea if it is working or not. It takes a CD perfectely but then it doesn't play at all. No sound comes out of it.. So not sure if it's faulty..
Can someone help?

Might be worth popping the radio out & making sure the speaker ISO plug is actually connected to it.
Whoever had the car last might have removed there aftermarket radio & just chucked the original radio back in the slot when selling / trading the car in.
Also check the fader / balance settings as ive seen that cause issue before on cars with only front speakers fitted

2 minuite job.

Or buy a Haynes manual and look at page 12.18. The Haynes manual isn't perfect but good for most tasks. £16 well spent.
