hi, my ECU has failed on my 206 and i have a friend scrapping one so could get all parts needed from hers, but was wondering if i were to get a new ecu set with key transponder , would it work on my multiplexed 206 with a pre-plex ecu? they are bioth the same size engine too. thanks.

No. You need a multiplexed set-up to go into a multiplexed car

Not only that, but the replacement ECU must have it's parameters changed to suit your A/C, cooling system, alternator, etc.

It will only work straight-away properly if you have identical car/equipment to hers.

BSI will also have to swapped and obviously there might be parameters in that which might need changing too.

This can be done with a PP2000 setup, (read old ECU/BSI parameters first by writing them down on a piece of paper) and then program them into the replacement ECU/BSI.
