#1: Dipped beam too low? But no MOT advisory Author: smiarmstrong, Location: NewcastlePosted: Sat Sep 21, 2013 7:33 am ---- Recently MOTd car with 4 advisories, none which included the headlights. I fitted some of those good Phillips headlight bulbs. The car is a 2000 1.4 LX. The dipped beam seems to be concentrated on the road directly in front of the car, when compared to other cars on dipped they give more view of the road ahead. It's quite annoying on unexpected corners! I've tried to adjust using the little white plastic screw but they haven't moved. Could do with lifting them slightly any ideas? I've refitted them twice to double check they're fitted correctly. I don't feel I'm getting the full benefit of a 30 quid pair of bulbs !

Tsotd do you mean the headlight lenses themselves? They are frosted if I understand you correctly!
Thanks lads
