206 Headlight issue
-> 206 Problems

#1: 206 Headlight issue Author: clawo PostPosted: Thu Oct 10, 2013 4:03 pm
    ----
I Had a small prang in my 206 and a issue that came from this was my healights were no longer water tight(old h4 type) so i have gone out and bought original h7 headlight clusters. As the evenings are getting darker sooner ive only just started using the headlights and noticed the headlight beam near side is 8-10ft infront of the car and off side is about 6-7ft and the light is pointing at the floor. I had the h4 sets in for atleast 1 week after the prang and the light level was still ok. I possiably thought the old owner has the beams set on 2 or 3 on auto adjuster so i took the motors out set it to 0 and re-inserted.

Now the issue is all 5 settings move the light beam about 1 degree and i just dont feel i can see enough road!

any assistace would be much apprecitaed to get the units to illuminate the road instead of directly infront of me.

Cheers in advance

Might just need the beam setting. pop into a friendly MOT garage and ask them to do it.
Should take them 5 mins as it's only an Allen Key adjustment.
