#1: Comms unit Author: darrencol, Location: South Lanarkshire, ScotlandPosted: Mon Oct 14, 2013 1:04 pm ---- Hi there,
I have a 2005 (05 reg) gti 180 with an airbag light on. I took it to a garage and they said there's an open circuit and that I'd probably need a new comms unit, but I don't know which one I need and I would rather not pay £200 for a new one. Can anyone provide any info as to which one I need, or direct me to one (maybe an ebay link)?
Thanks,
Darren

The cheapest option is to buy from EURO Car Parts. Put your reg in. And chose the comms that matches your current functions.
Your next question will be is it easy to change. The answer is yes. Just make sure you look at the beginners guide on here and shut the BSI down properly.
I think that covers it all
