#1: FCS 2014 Tickets Now Here!! Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Thu Oct 17, 2013 3:46 pm ---- Guessing most are aware that they have confirmed a date and location for FCS '14, just seen that tickets are available from 01/11/13 but rather than just being sent your ticket your sent your car pass and have to select which car club when purchasing.
Anyone going to be going?
Edit: Have registered info for a stand at the 2014 show, when ordering your tickets you'll be asked to select which club your with, this way your car pass will be sent to you in the post.
Date 06/06/14 gates open from 6pm for camping
07/06/14 main show day, gates open at 6am for clubs
08/06/14 chill day and parade laps Last edited by MattyP on Thu May 08, 2014 6:46 am; edited 2 times in total

FCS stands for French Car Show, basically a massive car show for anything french lol its being held at castle combe race circuit in wiltshire. The dates are listed on the 1st age, all you have to do is buy a ticket from the FCS website and select 206info to show your car on the info stand

It's not like Trax ect that's for sure lol - wish it was better though or I'd contemplate attending but after all the years at Rockingham and it moving further away from me I highly doubt il be there.

How would you compare it to trax? Just curious as I've never been
It is far, but it's a good day out on track with loads of other people into French cars which you don't see in the masses compared to normal track days.
If I didn't get on the track though, it probably wouldn't be worth the drive.
#26: Re: FCS 2014 Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Tue Oct 29, 2013 1:33 pm ---- there were plenty of cars on track all day saturday with a few spinning off, they even had the 309 thunder saloon on track which was an awesome sight, they are planning on making sure next year is better than this year's
#27: Re: FCS 2014 Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Tue Oct 29, 2013 4:48 pm ---- Well guy's the tickets for FCS go on sale this friday
I will post a thread for people to list if they are going nearer the date

Personally there is no comparison to be had! Trax is roughly what I expect a car show to be like, FCS is lacking. I used to go every year and it would take a huge improvement for me to bother again lol
Most of the cars at FCS will be at Trax anyway so I don't even think il miss much lol!
#29: Re: FCS 2014 Author: macj, Location: EssexPosted: Wed Oct 30, 2013 2:51 pm ---- Jamie... Perhaps you should give the new format a try. This time around the weekender ticket was a big plus. Very good atmosphere on the Friday/Saturday night. I am told there will be evening entertainment laid on for 2014 so it should be even better.
The Castle Combe circuit is by far the best yet for track time and there are plenty of places for the spectators to see you hooning. Go Karts were not very good this year and they may get replaced by something a little more show friendly.
All in all its a new show as far as previous years are concerned and I think its worth giving it a try again to see for yourselves. I am convinced you will find it the best yet.....
#30: Re: FCS 2014 Author: JamieM, Posted: Wed Oct 30, 2013 7:54 pm ---- Il bare it in mind and see where the car is at, at the time mate. I'd love to find it's better because I do love my Frenchies. It's just after all the years I went I always after every show said never again lol

#34: Re: FCS 2014 Author: AndrewR2211, Location: ScotlandPosted: Wed Jan 01, 2014 10:07 am ---- Right guys, all the way down from Scotland, that's a long drive for me, however i will be doing it with the gf, we will be making a holiday of it by stopping at Blackpool on the way back up. Being on the 206 info stand would be great, however i may need some help from one of you guys. 500 miles is quite far and my car will no doubt be dirty, so what i'm asking is if one of you guys who are close would let me wash my car before heading there on the Saturday. Its going to be a lot of planning but just putting it out there to see if i have any takers.

Good turnout last year in general but there was some spare space on the 206info stand.... perhaps this will change in 2014 when they all see what they missed

No mate, you just select club stand, then write in the box underneath "206info" and then just go to checkout. Believe this year they send the car passes with your tickets rather than to the organiser to then handout

If enough 206 info members are coming on a stand and fancy camping this year, we would like to join you. If members agree we were thinking of setting up our service van with the rally car on the 206info stand.
The car will be out on track at times during the day and you might get a chance of a passenger ride if time permits. Sadly not everyone will get the chance but I will leave it up to you guys how that will work.........

well if Gordon is going to be at FCS with his 205 then you can't really say no to not going, the reputation of the 206 would be ruined

Join the "attendee list" to claim your free place in the car
