Hi there thanks for your reply,
My Car Is a W Reg 2000 I Will be replacing both ECU & BSI,
The other ECU/BSI Is from a V Reg car,
Also does anyone out there know if I can get the "DAM" number from the donor car that is no longer around, I know the reg and the vin numbers but needing to know the dam number so I can use the diagnostic equipment,
again thanks for taking the time is reading my posts and helping me,

Kind Regards
Dom.....

Why? I dont understand the replacement?

9999 will be substantial for the build code.

Thanks for that,

the reason I am replacing BCI/ECU is because my alternator had died then the whole car died on the M25, AA Come out car would not start again, also a solid Engine management light Is on, I have replaced ECU Relay and all fuses, put in new coil pack replaced sensors ect ect, still got the same problem, the only thing left is the ECU/BSI, PP2000 can not get the ecu to reply anymore so ordered another which will be here Tuesday,

Regards
Dom.....
