#1: Peugeot 206 petrol cutting out Author: andygiza, Posted: Tue Oct 29, 2013 5:31 am ---- I have a Peugeot 206 petrol car and every now and then when I go to switch it on it hesitates when I turn the key before starting up then seems to mess with the clock and things like that. It also wont sit at idle, as soon as I take my foot off the accelerator the revs go right down and it cuts out. Im on a budget so trying to get it sorted myself rather than paying a mechanic to fix it. Any ideas?

Is that when the car is running (engine on, or ignition on)?
Also, what year car is yours, and what engine?

It's a 2002 reg and a 1.4 engine.
