#1: GTI 180 Gearboxes Author: iainlovatt, Posted: Tue Oct 29, 2013 10:17 am ---- Can anyone confirm that the 180 Gearboxes are Interchangeable. i.e. they have not changed in design and a late 2003 gearbox will fit a 2004 gti 180.

#5: Re: GTI 180 Gearboxes Author: Maybury180, Location: MiddlesbroughPosted: Thu Oct 31, 2013 2:32 pm ---- It depends on the code on the gearbox recently had to change mine recently and I could only use a 20DM77 or 20DM78 as I found out the hard way as I bought 2 other gearboxes both off 180's however the sensors and gear selector were different to my box, even swapping the sensors over and gear selector to fit these gearboxes still wouldn't work
