I'm not sure if I'd keep trying to start it though incase it is the belt and it ends up causing more damage but I'm not a mechanic.
Yeh think you picked it up on around 55k I part x'd it at gates on 54, well I hope you can get it sorted mate good luck!

It looks like the timing is out as I can't make the exhaust and inlet cam timing ion holes match up (turning engine over by hand) I've read several stories about bent and damaged valves on these engines, anyone know what the compression should be? Mine read 165psi plus on each cylinder with a dieing battery! Fingers crossed this mean no bent valves or is that low?!
