#1: 53 plate 206 airbag ecu error Author: skeeters, Posted: Fri Nov 08, 2013 1:53 pm ---- Hi, this is my first time posting so i hope you cut me a bit of latitude here. I had a bump front end, no airbags went off, the seat belt tensioners didnt either. It was a slow speed bump, bent front though, had repaired but drivers airbag light was on, diagnostic showed no error codes but solid airbag light. Decided to send ecu away to clear any crash data, put back in now have both airbag lights on. Got diagnostic put back on now getting no codes just unknown error. I am at a loss now only thing I can think of is to get secondhand ecu of same model and hope it goes out. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

I know you do when you change the ECU, so guessing you will when you have had the info on the ECU cleared.

So dont know, very annoying I have been trying to get this car back on road sinc e July now. It runs fine but cant tax it because I need vic check, and cant do that with airbag light on. I Cant use a garage because I am unemployed so have limited options but need car now. Maybe I just change the parts until it is fixed gradually with used parts. Again thanks anyways..
