#27: Re: My car Author: lofty, Location: Near ManchesterPosted: Tue Apr 06, 2010 5:55 am ---- Car looks good with the exception of these things:
I don't like the rear drum painted, do it black and it would look better.
The bonnet grill doesn't fit in with the scheme of the car, again do it black and it would look good.
The spoiler is a bit OTT but it does kind of work.
Tyre dressing!! Your tyres look almost brown compared to your nice shiny bodywork!! Invest in a bottle and it will look miles better!
All in all i just think you need to paint the rear caliper and bonnet grill for it to look really good.

#28: Re: My car Author: army-joe, Location: kentPosted: Tue Apr 06, 2010 6:41 am ---- As I said was a 8min wash n didn't have time to do tyres and also no point a I've literally just got proxes put on today.
Drums are going. Getting a 180 rear torsion with discs etc
top grill is getting sprayed but due to me not having time it ain't been done.
But yh I agree thanks but it all will be sorted
#29: Re: My car Author: lofty, Location: Near ManchesterPosted: Tue Apr 06, 2010 7:13 am ---- Yeah fair point to the washing - I know the feeling!
I'm usually a lot more critical to what needs doing but I honestly think it looks good and easy to sort out the little bits as its only spraying.
How about getting some wind deflectors too? it would suit the look of the spoiler and beef it out a little bit more.
Keep up the good work mate
Lofty
#30: Re: My car Author: army-joe, Location: kentPosted: Tue Apr 06, 2010 7:27 am ---- I'm glad u said about the wind deflectors lol. I'm looking at getting some but dunno what ones r good n what ones r poo.
Yh thanks for the points. Only reason y I still got top grill is because their led. Might take them off but I dunno
