#1: Spring clunking noise? Author: dafatkid88, Posted: Wed Nov 20, 2013 6:04 am ---- Afternoon, I have tried searching through the forum for an answer but I have gathered i'm pretty useless when it comes to using this site and so was unable to find anything lol
I had some brand new FK coiliovers (http://www.carparts-tuning.co.uk/Suspension-Tuning/Coilovers/Coilover-AK-fit-for-Peugeot-206-Yr-09-98.html) fitted at the weekend on my 2003 GTi180 and straight away now have a sort of knocking/metal clunking/spring noise coming from the passenger side when i turn BUT only at low speed
Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this? everything was put back on in the complete opposite way to how it came off and i never had any noise at all before fitting them
Any help is much appreciated
Thank you

It could be something rubbing on the strut.
When I go to a certain height on my e36 my wheel weights rub against my springs causing a know but again can only notice it a low speeds.
Might be worth investing in some spacers to ensure your wheels aren't catching on anything
