Is it just tracking needing doing I had it done about 8 month ago -.-

Had the steering wheel problem which was slightly off. I went and did an alignement and it fixed it. Wanted to try the previous method but the thought of not re-fitting it right made me squirm!

The nightmare of front suspension! I remember when I did mine. My wheel was off by about 40 degrees! was pretty damn comfy.. Kind of wished I left the steering wheel as it was, aha!

They should place a device on the steering wheel to keep it straight which rests on the seat, then they adjust the tracking and a quick road test is the only way to confirm if the wheel is really straight afterwards. You can't simply move the steering wheel a spline or two to get it straight because there is one larger spline at the bottom meaning the steering wheel can only go on in one position.

Nothing wrong with my method. Typically the steering wheel is off from wheel alignment, the mechanic forgets to make sure the steering wheel is straight, then adjusts the wheels central. I've replaced my peugeot steering wheel for the red and black cc one, it's not the hardest thing in the world...

So that would suggest he hasn't done the job properly and your tyres are going to scrub pretty quickly.
It's also not always possible to move it as it still is offset due to he splines .. and on some cars it has to go in a certain position or the indicators, etc and out of sync ... hence why turning one way flicks them off quicker that the other.

Just moving the steering wheel doesn't solve the issue of why it's misaligned in the first place.
If it's because the tracking is out, it's still going to scrub the tyres and be more expensive in the long run, not to mention the safety aspect if the car isn't cornering properly.
We're becoming a world of Duck tape and WD40 repairers.

I took it as the wheels were aligned but the steering wheel itself was out
