Shock Absorber Bolts Which way round?

Does it matter which way round the bolts go in on the Shock absorbers for my 2005 206 1.4HDI?

ie Nuts on the inside or outside?

Rear? For the top the bolt head goes on the outside, at the bottom the bolt head goes on the inside.

Thanks Edward, I wondered why it came loose after changing the axle!

It is actually. I double checked with my photos too!

I doubt it really makes a difference though. They are probably inserted a certain way as it's easier in production. Getting the top bolt in from the outside with the wheel still in place can be difficult though.

It really won't make a difference, just whatever is easier for you to work on.
