I have just purchased a standard head unit and installed it in the car it works perfectly apart from every 5 seconds there's a loud beep?
Not a clue what this could even be, display is reading the right things and it is the same no matter what you try and change.
Any help would be much appreciated

To fix this problem, you need to find someone who got a PP2000 (Peugeot Planet),so he can decode it,with entering your car VIN to the headunit, simple job, take about 5 min. and all will be ok.

No,the beeping is for Mux,and the code request for preplex, only when using OEM headunit.

Only OEM headunits make this beeping sound when turned on if the headunit isn't configured with PP2000.
