#1: Squeak Author: nadzc, Posted: Fri Dec 20, 2013 2:57 pm ---- i have a Peugeot 206 quiksilver.
recently taken to the local garage to have a wheel bearing changed on the drivers side. once leaving the garage i noticed i had an annoying constant squeak and clunking when pressure applied to the breaks.
I took my car back to the garage less than 3 days later explaining the sounds and took it for a test drive to show a mechanic the sounds.
they replaced the brake pads of both sides which solved the clunk but still had the squeak.
Dad and i looked ourselves and the brake disc looked warped so changed the disc and noise had gone for a day. now still have the annoying squeak and now a grinding/rubbing noise when brakes applied...
anyone who may know the problem i would be very grateful as this car is my pride and joy and my baby !!!
