#1: airbox.... Author: gizmothedog, Location: worksopPosted: Mon Dec 23, 2013 1:20 pm ---- I had a loose filter box at the weekend so I fixed it on sunday. I noticed whilst doing it how low the intake is....my eyes nearly popped out. my question is how can I make this higher? I looked at cone filters but I don't really want the induction noise (its a 1.4 with wheel trims...not really got the looks for that). with the heavy rain and deep puddles imminent I don't fancy an engine replacement.
any ideas?

In that case your resonator is missing.
It get's broken (it's a whole other tuned box) where it joins with the air box inlet at the bottom, and also some people take it off.
Get one from eBay; I did and it's quiet like a BMW.
