#1: [lol] passenger side braking Author: DSWR, Location: SolihullPosted: Tue Dec 24, 2013 8:39 pm ---- For those who aren't aware, the brake servo is on the left hand side of the peugeots, mainly because they're typically left hand drive, then converted for the UK (duh). This means that there's a metal tube that goes from the left side, to the right side (for your breaking)... My brother, being the smart a**e that he is, noticed that there's a slight "pedal" above the brake servo, attached to the tubing, that DOES allow you to slam on the anchors... He was highly amused as you could imagine. Bravo Peugeot Last edited by DSWR on Wed Dec 25, 2013 9:10 pm; edited 1 time in total

Ah, does yours have one then? Me and my mate both don't have them in our pugs, so we just thought it was standard. The spots rather high up, so it'd be odd for it to be hit unless someones doing it on purpose.

Blimey! bet that'd be a shocker, haha. Yeah, well, I didn't think it was that obvious either. We know the brake servo was over there, but believed it would be in the engine bay, not showing under the glove box compartment. Mad design idea there

It makes sense, as it makes them by far easier to work on, but more importantly kerps the cost down as if you notice closely there is two holes in the bulk head for left or right hand drive.

Yeah, the brake bar. Mines an 05 and doesn't have the trim, which is strange. May have to get one!:)
