#1: strange electrical problems Author: jaybee, Location: englandPosted: Mon Dec 30, 2013 7:21 am ---- 54 gti 180 car drives fine no problems battery and alternator checked both fine,when you start car doors lock, stereo beeps, dash needles flick up, sometimes but not always display very dim but not dash display and when you drive random messages show up eg no cd, airbag fault, etc and keep losing time and date any ideas would be most welcome.

If not could be a faulty bsi unit
