My key got soaked ages ago and I havent really been worried about the effects of it as all I thought I had lost was the ability to use my remote central locking. However my dad has just warned me that my immobiliser is in my key therefore my car has no immobiliser.
Is there any cheap way of getting the key repaired and connected back to my car?
How much would I be looking to get it done?

The key opens the doors and boot when turned in door lock.
The car starts and runs fine.
I just cant use my remote central locking :/

Probably cost less than a tenner on ebay and then the cost of finding someone with PP to do it, presuming you already have the security code and don't need to go to the dealers for it.
