Gearbox filler/drain plugs
-> 206 Problems

#1: Gearbox filler/drain plugs Author: Docbooze PostPosted: Sun Jan 12, 2014 6:02 am
    ----
I have a 1.4 petrol 2003 manual 206 and gonna change the gear oil. I took a look at the box today ( looking square on from n/side arch with tyre off) and it does have 2 square allen holes. Sorry cant take a photo but top bolt (filler I presume) is to the left nearest the radiator and 2nd (drain) is down just where the nearside driveshaft enters the box.

Does this sound about right to people who have changed their gear oil etc as 1st time on these boxes for me

Cheers for any advice.

Just found a pic with same box. Seems straightforward enough. (I may have a used gearbox on mine. Not sure)

Here's a link for anyone with same box showing the plugs. (about 4 posts down) Cheers
