Clunk/clicking sound when steering

#1: Clunk/clicking sound when steering Author: Scott_thomson PostPosted: Sun Jan 19, 2014 7:31 am

Hi all,

I've recently bought a 1.6 206 16v. When I turn the steering wheel, regardless of moving or sitting stationary, I'm getting a clunking sound from the footwells. Has anyone got an idea of what it could be?

Thanks in advance

Scott

Anti-roll bar bushes or wishbone bushes could be making that noise as it loads up the bushes.
Could be drive shaft joints.

Get a knowledgeable mate to have a look at it.
