You could pull the rubber off and give it a clean, but if you have water coming in from there, you have more serious problems to worry about.
Have a look at some of these threads. I searched "water footwell" so you might need to find titles that match your problem

Not really much you can do to see if it's blocked, but the amount of filth will be a give away. Mine gets changed twice a year regardless just to keep the air smelling fresh inside the car. They are only about a tenner

How do you know if that thing is blocked??

The interior fan would have a hard time delivering outside air into the cabin...

Very unlikely to be blocked by gunk as it sits so high. Might accumulate dust though, reducing performance. Unlikely way for water to get in as it sits so high. over a deep void.

To remove the filter, just stick your hand in their, grab and pull forward, might have to angle one of the sides out ahead of the other as it isn't rectangular but more like

_______
| \
|_______\

as seen from above.
No need to touch the rubber gasket, IIRC.

Sorry to be a pain because I might be getting things confused here..

The water puddle is right underneath the AIR/AC vent on the front side passenger. No where near the door. So has it got something to do with the air vents being blocked??

Not the air intake. Possibly some drain hole for water somewhere, causing it to get in somewhere - and it can be sneaky and run quite some distances before it gets visible.

Not sure if there's any ingress points lower down in the void below the pollen filter. If you have crud at the bottom of that void, I'd clean it out.

Is it plain water? Might be a leak from the heater matrix - but then it should be coolant - check the level in the bottle...

Yes the water is clear like rain water, but doesn't sell. The water in the bottle hasn't gone since I've had the car five months..

I am wondering if I am mechanic will spot this problem, if it is the drain holes? Or would it be a headache for them to find it??
