#1: Late Pre-plex 1.1 Style - Possible Exterior Mods Author: Connochio, Location: Burton Latimer, NorthamptonshirePosted: Wed Jan 22, 2014 12:21 pm ---- Hey guys!
I'm pretty new to doing anything with cars, and I've had my 206 for just over a year now (not counting the first 2 months after the engine scattered itself on a motorway) and i want to make it look a bit less of a mess.
Its a 51 plate pug, registered just before 206s got plexed, and everything inside it is manual (which is a pain in the a**e!)
Because its pre-plexed i have no idea what mods i can actually do when it comes to lights. for instance, can i get some crystal front headlights from a newer, plexed 206.
also, i want to colour code all the black plastic trim on the outside of the car, so how would i go about doing that without forking too much cash out?
You've probably had a million and one questions like these before, so I'm sorry in advance

Yes you can add crystals. You may have the H7 connectors already tucked away near the headlamps. If it's not there then you will need H4 to H7 adaptors. You'll also need the lighting stalk from a GTI.

is there any particular year that i should look for, or is it just any GTI lighting stalk?
I might find some when i go to a scrappy in the next few weeks to get some nice new seats.
am i right in saying that i can put the split rear seats from another 5 door 206 into my car to replace my broken non-split rear sets
