I specifically wanted these as our tyre balancing machine only works with alloys with a centre cap. Really annoying when Peugeot insist on not using them sometimes!
The challengers are used on the 307 the difference it's that they are 6.5" wide where as the vortex are 7" also the offset is slightly different et31 for challengers and et28 for vortex
What all that means is without spacers challengers sit 3mm further in than vortex, and stick out 9mm less hence why I have been able to space mine out by 20mm on the rear
I was going to do the front 12mm, but think it looks right without to be honest

I may look into some 307 challengers.. They've all got chunky monkey tyres on, which is a shame:\ don't really want to buy another full set of tyres. Yeah they come with big tyres for the 307, I picked up a set with knackered tyres on, gave them a full refurb and stuck new tyres on, If I was in your boat I wouldn't want to change them, just find a solution that you are happy with for what you have.
Basically I think I am right in saying you are happy with the front yeah?
So my advice would be to bring the rears out 12-15mm to stop them looking like they are diving in compared t the front, then make your rear aches and/or suspension work around that, either raise it a little if required or have the arch lip folded round, there's a chance the paint will crack doing that, but its all part of it Im afraid
Good thing about the rears is they don't move so as long as the arch have enough movement to clear by even just 1mm it will be ok as they wont get closer/ further away

Yeah, that's what I mean't sorry. Wheels rub on the arch liners:\ they did it worse before spacers, haha.
I'm looking for a solution over changing as I bought the wheels for £200, then tyres for £250.
I'm happier with the front than the rear, wheels look better coming out than hiding away in the arches (in my eyes), obviously tucked looks cool, but the front needs to match. At the moe I got one of both, which isn't really what I like. If I can, I'll bring front in, if not, I want to bring rears out. Either works for me, as long as they're matching:)

Will get chopping on the lip in my arches and see what happens.. May get them rolled if required:)
