I have a peugeot 206 1124 cc 2001.. latley the engine has been loosing power on and off. When it does lose pwer you can be doing 40 mph and when you put your foot down it goes no faster at all. And the engine starts to chugg.. i have changed the coil pack but it still does it. I have today took the s plugs out .. the first one i took out was quite sooty. The next one along was fairly sooty. And the last two were clean and good . Does this mean that i might be getting this problem as the fuel injectors might be playing up... if they are how much does it cost on average at a garage to have this checked out..
