got a whining noise from os driveshaft area well a granting noise aswell been like this for two or three months but now its a rubber burning smell after a few miles noise there if clutch in or coasting, knocking worsen when cornering wheel bearings are fine,cv joints seem fine iam at a loss the noise seems more in the centre near the intermediate bearing

the car has started to like hold back like a binding brake but i can asure its not the brakes

If it is, probably first motion shaft bearing in the gearbox has gone
