Petrol injector issue 1.4 2005
-> 206 Problems

Hi
I think I might have an issue with one of my injectors sticking only when the car is cold when its gets warm it behaves normally, possibly a little down on power.

Is there a simple way to check the injectors?

and how do they come out are they just pushed in with the "o" ring and held in place by the fuel rail etc?

Thanks
Neil

Maybe read some ICV threads. The injector would probably be more faulty eg not just when cold.

I'm no expert, just an observation.

Its highly unlikely. The spray pattern may have failed but tgats rare!

If anything has gone wrong with the injectors there would be fault code

put some cleaner through it and see if that helps first, the fuel rail and injectors are held in with two bolts
