#1: How Will 16" Black Nimrods look and Feel On a Diablo Red 206 Author: stuarts30, Location: Morden, SurreyPosted: Sun Feb 09, 2014 3:58 pm ---- Hi All,
I have a 1.4 LX 3dr Diablo Red
I have come across an opportunity to get hold of a set of black 16" nimrods.
What i would like to know is would 16" alloys look and feel OK on my 206, its had no modifications in the sense of lowering etc.
Would i need to make changes to my car before even thinking about fitting 16" alloys.
I have been told that 17" put to much of a strain on the gearbox etc.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated

Much bigger and what you've been told is correct, well sort of. It's more wheel bearings and suspension components that tend to suffer with bigger wheels not gearboxes. As for the black nimrods, they should look pretty sweet on a red car. I have the same combo on my little Honda 4x4 Winter workhorse.
