Not a lot of point in buying a brand new one when you can spend a bit of time making a second hand one look nice and save a decent chunk of money is there.
Thats come up really well too. Looks awesome Got to love Autosol haha.

Now just have to fit it, I tried connecting the backbox to the center pipe and it's like there both the same size pipe that or it's gonna be a VERYY tight fit.
I can't even get them connected on my bed let alone under the car!

#21: Re: janspeed backbox/full system Author: LiamGTi180, Location: OxfordPosted: Thu Feb 20, 2014 3:05 pm ---- Looks good mate. Done a good job there. How you getting on with it? Little tip to make it pop. On the downrun in the revs slighlty blip the throttle
#22: Re: janspeed backbox/full system Author: bashyy1, Location: Milton KeynesPosted: Thu Feb 20, 2014 3:54 pm ---- I'm hopefully fitting it all properly tomorrow and I'll give it a go n let you know.
Nice one!! I'll give it a go
#23: Re: janspeed backbox/full system Author: DanT, Location: Torbay, EnglandPosted: Thu Feb 20, 2014 4:21 pm ---- Yeah they are a tight fit, i find it easier to spray a bit of GT85 or WD40 or whatever you have thats similar on the two bits that contact each other, and then kind of twist it a bit as you're pushing it on, goes on nice and easy that way Little tip for you, when you're fitting it leave all the clamps etc finger tight until you have it sat in the bumper nicely, then tighten them up. No-one wants a wonky exhaust lol.

I second this i also found that whilst being quite a subtle system, if you go on a long journey or you've just been absolutely spanking it lol it pops and bangs like mad when coming down the revs and with a tiny tiny amount of throttle you can pretty much do it on demand.
Brings out everyones inner chav for a minute haha.
