Hi all,

I've just had my mechanic replace the front windscreen wiper blades and they now make an annoying skipping sound.

I believe the brand are Valeo and are only just a couple of weeks old.

Any ideas on how I can help fix this problem?

Do I maybe need a specific brand?

Any info or advice would be great!

I had a set do this, honestly how i stopped it was just drive in the auto car wash (brushless of course) and have them running the entire time, they appeared to 'wear in' and pretty well never did it again. Hopefully this may help you? I tend to use my wipers around 10 days of the year so I guess they arnt so important to us Razz

Give your screen a damn good clean. It's possible the rubbers are snagging on the oil and grease deposits that are thrown up from the road.
