#1: my mrs' hdi Author: HOLES, Location: swansea valleys, south wales.Posted: Tue Feb 18, 2014 2:21 am ---- Ok so just before xmas the mrs bought a 02 plate 5 door 1.4 hdi. Its her first car and was at the right price at the right time.
Some mods may not be to everyones taste but thats life and the whole point behind modifying isnt it?!
So we picked up a set of gti alloy wheels cheap, they just need a lick of paint and some tyres wrapped around them.
Ok so she decided the standard gearknob is horrid and decided on a blue diamond one, so we got that all fitted in
She decided to get a set of lexus rear lights from a friend and to colour code them, this didnt go to well when she left them in the oven a tad to long (or more important against the back wall) and melted them lol
A mk4 astra came into work to be scrapped so I took the splitter off it and got it on her car
The backbox was rusty and eventually gave in and fell off lol, so a 306 came into work again to be scrapped with a practically new longlife cat back system on it. So I took the system off the car and tried it for fit under her 206, direct fit besides a hanger on the backbox. Perfect. Haha. So I sleeved the system and job done
Not to my taste, but its not my car. She ordered some rear light masks. So I sprayed them up and got them stuck on
After weeks and weeks of searching for the right print. We found it and my mate applied it.
Also managed to get a spoiler, it just needs spraying and fitting along with the alloys.
