#1: 1999 key fob Author: vOriginx, Location: PlymouthPosted: Thu Feb 27, 2014 11:29 am ---- Hello people, I just tried locking my car using the remote locking but It didn't work, I was just wondering what common problems are of the key fobs or if it just might be out of battery?
Cheers!

The remote locking is working again but when I lock my car at night etc and leave it for a long period of time, I'll come to my car in the morning and it'll be unlocked which isn't ideal! Anyone had this problem before? Car not staying locked, even using the key itself it still unlocks Itself.

1> Bouncing door locks - Sometimes when you lock the car the locks will bounce back up although this generally happens straight away. This is solved by replacing which ever door actuator is causing the problem.
2> Someone is accidently pressing the key fob causing the doors to unlock
3> Some weird electrical problem.
